Secure Ordering

Your credit card transactions are secure with Tough Pups and Pampered Princesses. We utilize a Secure Socket Layering (SSL), which ensures safe internet transmission of your personal information. When the "http" in the address URL changes to "https", this indicates you are now in the SSL secure area. You may also note a pop-up indicating that you are about to enter a secure area. Ordering online is as safe on our site as it is by telephone. However, if you prefer to place your order via telephone, please call us between the hours of: 9:00am - 4:00pm EST, Monday - Friday at (607) 277-8777 (TPPP). Please have your credit card information nearby.

If you have any difficulty ordering from our web site, please contact us. Please note that only U.S. orders can be processed via our shopping bag. Tough Pups and Pampered Princesses relies upon the accuracy of your online order information. We are not to be held responsible for customer typographical errors.

Payment Methods

U.S. issued MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and check/debit cards (with a Visa/MasterCard logo) are accepted. Please note that any and all orders placed using a Non U.S. Bank Issued Credit Card will be cancelled. Credit and debit cards are charged at the time the order is placed. We accept money orders, personal or business checks (made payable to “Tough Pups and Pampered Princesses"). However, due to substantial banking fees, orders will not begin processing until the check/money order has cleared. Bounced checks will be assessed a $35.00 charge.

Gift Certificates

Gift Certificates are available for online purchase in denominations of $50, $100, $250, $500, $750, and $1000. Your personalized message may be included at no extra charge. Shipping & Handling charges apply.

Gift Wrapping

Whenever possible, we are pleased to present our items to you ready for gift presentation. A personalized message may also be sent to the gift recipient at no additional charge.

Direct Shipment/Personalized Messages

When you purchase a gift, we will gladly ship it directly to the person(s) for whom you are buying, along with your personal greeting. Simply provide us with the wording for your gift card, along with the name(s) and address(es) of the person(s) for whom you are buying. Physical addresses only - we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.

Custom Orders

We urge you to read the description of each item as many of our items are indicated as "custom". Anything that is not offered in our boutique by way of design, color, specific measurements, etc. is also considered a "custom order". This includes items that are monogrammed, engraved, or personalized in any way. Please choose carefully, as custom orders may not be exchanged, returned or refunded.

Product Pricing & Availability

Many of the products we sell are made to order. Specifically, once you order is placed, your product(s) of choice are then made specifically for you. This is done in order to present you with the highest quality items available. In order to properly service each customer, we find it essential to require a minimum 14-day lead-time prior for delivery of all orders. Other items may require additional time. Please refer to the detail page of each item for approximate delivery. Rush orders may be accepted. Let us know when you need the item(s) and we will attempt to accommodate you. Additional charges may apply, due to additional shipping expenses and priority handling by our seamstresses and crafters. The prices displayed on this website are quoted in U.S. currency and are therefore valid only in the United States. Price changes and availability information are subject to change without notice.

International Delivery

We do not ship internationally at this time.

Domestic Delivery

Shipments within the United States will be automatically calculated at checkout utilizing the "Shipping & Handling Chart" below. For your protection, each package is shipped fully insured with signature confirmation required. Tracking Your Package You have the ability to track your Priority Mail, UPS and Federal Express orders. Please make sure the delivery address is correct as errors cause delays. If you give us a P.O. Box address, it will arrive via United States Postal Service. We do not ship COD.

Drop Shipment

Larger items are generally shipped directly from the Designer to you. Please note the "approximate delivery" within the individual item's description for shipping time. Should you have any questions, feel free to contact us.

Sales Tax

Merchandise and Gift Certificates shipped to a New Jersey address or purchased by a New Jersey resident are subject by law to 6% sales tax.

Return Policy

If you are not completely satisfied with any unused item you may return the item for store credit or exchange only. Unauthorized returns, COD, Last Call/Clearance and postage due returns will not be accepted and will be returned to you.

Upon confirmation of your original order and receipt of the return in its original condition, a Store Credit Memo will be e-mailed to you for your records. Your store credit is valid for one year and is based on the purchase price. Should you have need to return merchandise, please note the following requirements. Omission of any of these details is cause for the merchandise to be returned to you:

• Contact us for a Return Authorization # (RA#)
• Please indicate the reason for your return on the "original" Packing Slip and enclose with the merchandise you are returning.
• Return the unused product in its original packaging with all accompanying materials (instructions, etc.).
• For your protection, we suggest you insure and return your package with a shipper who utilizes tracking information, as we cannot be held liable for lost or stolen packages.

• Your return must be postmarked within 14 days (commencing from the date you receive your order).

Exceptions to this Return Policy:

• Tough Pups and Pampered Princesses reserves the right to determine if a product is in used or non-saleable condition.
• Special Value, Last Call/Clearance, treats and other perishables are final sales and non-returnable.
• Shipping and Handling is non-refundable and return shipping is at the purchaser's expense. ("Return shipping" includes reshipment of the new item as well as returning the item to Tough Pups and Pampered Princesses or Designer.)
• A $5.00 shipping and handling fee applies to each item returned. Heavier items may incur additional fees. Order add-ons will be charged the standard shipping and handling fees.
• We urge you to measure your pet accurately. One exchange per item is permitted. Thereafter, each exchange will incur a $10 charge per item.
• Pet Carriers, Beds, Blankets and Dog Houses - Please note the dimensions and weight limitations for each carrier, choosing the appropriate size for your pet carefully. Due to standard health regulations we cannot accommodate returns or exchanges of carriers or beds.
• Custom orders cannot be exchanged or returned. Please note details within each item's description. This also includes personalization of any kind or anything not offered in our boutique by way of design, color, size, etc.
• The product must be returned in its original packaging with all accompanying materials (such as instructions, etc.).
• A $5.00 shipping and handling fee applies to each item returned for exchange. Heavier items may incur additional fees. Order add-ons will be charged the standard shipping and handling fees.
• One exchange per item is permitted. Second and subsequent exchanges will incur a $10 charge per item. Heavier items may incur additional fees. Order add-ons will be charged the standard shipping and handling fees.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive an item that is defective or damaged, you must contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will be happy to correct the problem.

Lost, Undeliverable or Refused Packages

Should your order not arrive within it's approximate delivery time frame, please contact us. You must notify us within 30 days of the approximate delivery indicated within the item's description. We will not be held responsible for notifications after that time.

Undeliverable packages which require reshipment at the customer's request, are subject to a reshipment charge equivalent to the original shipping fees. This includes refusal of a package, unclaimed packages, or misinformation on the part of the customer.

Should we be unable to reach the customer for resolution, a 30% restock charge will apply and store credit will be issued for the balance (good for one year from the date of the original order). Shipping and handling is non-refundable. Refused packages are subject to a 30% restock charge. A store credit will be issued for the balance, which is good for one year from the date of the original order. Shipping and handling is non-refundable.
